Race Times

The main race begins at 1pm SHARP

The wheelchair race begins at 12:50pm SHARP

The Walk begins at 11:00am walkers can also take part from the back of the pack during the main event at 1:00pm to ensure a clear track for runners and wheelchair competitors due to health and safety reasons.

First Aid

The Order of Malta will be located on various locations throughout the course, if during the race you require assistance, please make contact with any of the Stewarts.

Changing Facilities

Full changing (and toilet) facilities are available at the Greencastle Community Centre, however due to the large numbers of expected runners you are kindly asked to arrive ready to run.

Parking Facilities

Car parking facilities are available on the day around the Greencastle football grounds. The stewards will direct you to your parking places and you will then be guided to the registration point. In the event of the car park being over capacity, we will be using the car park at the church grounds, a short distance away. There will also be a bus shuttle service available to and from these locations.

Prize Giving

Prize giving will take place at 2:30PM sharp in the Greencaslte Community Center were refreshments will be made available. Runners are asked to be in attendance no later than 2:25PM.

Toilets

Toilets will be made available close to the starting point of the race. There will also be toilets available at the three mile marker (the spectator point).

Water Stations

A water station will be available at the Greencastle Cross Roads, the three mile point.

Race Start

We kindly ask all walkers and novice runners to allow the elite runners right of passage at the race start to ensure a good standard of Health and Safety. If you cannot complete the 5mile in under 30mins, please stay back from the front at the start.
